DayMate is a versatile, easy-to-use desktop accessory
that offers the user a lot for the money.
Use it to create and schedule reminders than can pop up messages
with optional sound effects; start applications or open documents;
and shut down, reboot, log off, or power down your system. A reminder
can also check for new email, display startup messages, synchronize
system time via the Internet, send a simple email message, and open
a specified Web address.
In addition, you can display a stay-on-top calendar and/or clock,
as well as have the program chime the hour, half hour, and quarter
hour.

it. With DayMate on hand, I can set the automatic launching of programs,

DayMate is a flexible day planner that allows you to manage all your tasks and appointments. It also includes options to set reminders with optional alarms and/or email notifications that can help you remember upcoming anniversaries, birthdays, meetings and other important events. DayMate can alert you via pop-up message (with Snooze option), alarm sound and email message. In addition to alarms and reminders, the program can also perform some routing computing tasks like launching a website, checking your email, synchronizing your system time or shutting down your PC at a specified time or schedule. DayMate provides daily, weekly and yearly calendar views and can optionally print the current view as nicely formatted calendar page.
